Job summary

Synechron seeks an experienced Java Architect to design, develop, and guide the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. You will provide technical leadership across architecture, solution design, development standards, and system integration with product, engineering, and business teams.

The role focuses on defining robust architectures, leading microservices, and promoting best practices while mentoring engineers and advancing cloud adoption and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Significant experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with microservices, RESTful services, and design patterns.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases; messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, JMS).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and infrastructure automation; strong problem-solving and leadership.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement robust application architectures using Java and related enterprise technologies.
• Design scalable, reliable, and secure solutions for complex business requirements.
• Lead the development of microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, coding guidelines, and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, tools, and platforms.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders.
• Create architecture documents, technical specifications, system diagrams, and PoCs.
• Review code and designs to ensure quality, performance, and security.
• Mentor developers and promote continuous improvement across teams.
• Guide cloud adoption, CI/CD, containerization, and modern engineering practices.
