Job summary
Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Senior Java Applications Administrator / SRE in Dallas to own production Java environments, middleware, and cloud automation. You will optimize performance, drive reliability, and mentor teammates while aligning with enterprise security and AI-enabled integrations.
You will work across Java apps, IBM middleware, Azure, scheduling tools, and observability to improve operational efficiency and platform strategy.
Qualifications
- 8–12+ years of IT experience in enterprise environments.
- Experience administering Java-based applications in production.
- Strong hands-on with JBoss and Apache Tomcat.
- Experience with IBM MQ and IBM Integration Bus/Broker.
- Azure administration experience and Power Platform familiarity.
- Proficient in PowerShell, Python, and Unix/Linux scripting.
- Experience with SSO solutions and strong SQL skills (SQL Server/Oracle).
- Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools and AI-enabled integrations.
- Excellent communication with technical and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Hands-On Java application administration and tuning in production.
- Manage middleware and integration technologies across environments.
- Support Azure cloud platforms, scheduling tools, and automation.
- Mentor and collaborate with engineers, driving reliability improvements.
- Contribute to platform modernization and security requirements.
