Job summary

Synechron, a leading global consulting firm, seeks a Sr. Java Developer with React experience to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications.

Strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot, plus hands-on UI work with React, are required to deliver robust, enterprise-grade software solutions. You will design RESTful services and microservices, integrate with backend systems and third-party services, and collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, DevOps, and other

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful web services and microservices.
• Experience with state-management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or similar tools.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software development principles.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative source-control workflows.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Jest, or React Testing Library.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and React.
• Build scalable and secure backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
• Integrate React applications with Java-based backend systems and third-party services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, code reviews, and system testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Develop unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Follow software development, security, and coding best practices.
