Job summary

Synechron in Menlo Park is seeking a Sr. Java Full Stack Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise apps using Java 17+, Spring Boot, microservices, and modern frontend tech.

The role includes building RESTful APIs, NoSQL data models, and responsive UIs with Angular or React, plus collaboration in an Agile environment and contributions to CI/CD and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or higher.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and REST API development.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Experience with Angular or React.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with testing tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Jest, or Cypress.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.
• Build scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Design and integrate secure RESTful APIs.
• Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or Redis.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular or React.js.
• Write unit and integration tests, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot application issues.
• Collaborate with product, QA, architecture, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
• Contribute to CI/CD, cloud deployment, and application performance improvements.
