Job summary

OneTrust is seeking a senior Java software engineer in the Atlanta area to design and develop microservices with REST/Spring on Azure. You will collaborate with UX and product teams to deliver scalable AI governance features and maintain high test coverage.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in software engineering, strong Java/J2EE skills, and familiarity with AI platforms and data streaming. This role emphasizes high code quality and agile practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering/development experience (or 5+ years with a Master’s).
• Extensive OO design, Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, SQL/NoSQL, REST/JSON.
• Experience with AI platforms (SageMaker, Vertex, Bedrock).

Responsibilities

• Develop Java microservices and libraries; unit test applications deployed to Azure.
• Aim for 80% code coverage or higher as per team standards.
• Collaborate with UX, product managers, and other developers on architecture and design.
• Ensure defects are reduced and critical issues are addressed per SLA.
