Job summary

OneTrust is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the AI Governance team in a fast-paced environment. You will design and implement Java microservices, integrate with AI platforms, and contribute to architecture discussions as part of an agile group.

You'll collaborate with product managers and developers to deliver robust, scalable solutions on Azure with Spring, REST, and modern data platforms. The role emphasizes mentorship, code quality, and meeting sprint goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience (5+ years with Master's).
• Extensive experience with Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, SQL/NoSQL, REST/Web services.
• Hands-on experience with AI platforms and data streaming tools like Kafka.
• Familiarity with cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP) and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java microservices and libraries for OneTrust's AI Governance platform.
• Design architecture decisions and collaborate with UX, PMs, and other developers.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, unit tests, and 80%+ test coverage.
• Mentor juniors and lead high-performing teams on new tech skills.
• Deliver features within sprints and maintain system reliability.
