Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of four years of experience in a relevant area.
• Working knowledge of wastewater operations (BNR, UF, dewatering, clarification, ion exchange, RO, evaporation).
• Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and quality.

• Ability to engage with stakeholders and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with O&M and customers to drive process improvements.
• Own transfer and/or treatment system scope, including commissioning and startup.
• Review and execute system commissioning/startup plans for mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.
• Monitor daily trends, inspect equipment, and coordinate with O&M on work orders and projects.
• Troubleshoot critical IWT system issues during operations and commissioning.
• Support instrumentation, maintenance, and operations teams in day-to-day tasks.
• Interface with internal customers during commissioning and startup meetings to gather feedback.
• Coach and mentor less-experienced engineers in commissioning best practices.
