Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Project Engineer for the UPW-IWT team to own development and execution of water treatment system improvements. You will support the Fab through commissioning, startups and retrofit projects with external design consultants and general contractors.

Responsibilities include managing design packages, ensuring safety, and driving process improvements while maintaining clear stakeholder communication and project documentation.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Process or Industrial Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in an engineering environment, preferably within Design or Operations.
• Working knowledge of general water treatment technologies and/or processes.
• Minimum 4 years chemical/mechanical design and project experience in an industrial setting. Semiconductor fab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and execution of WTR system improvements and support operations.
• Manage site Consultant Design Team and Construction General Contractor activities.
• Lead start-up, commissioning and retrofit projects for UPW-IWT systems.
• Sustain transparent communication with stakeholders on quality, safety and cost issues.
