Job summary

Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or GED, current PHRMTECH-R registration, and preference for IV admixture experience; PTCB certification is a plus while compliance with state/federal standards is mandatory.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures preferred.
• Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician (PHRMTECH-R) required; PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare admixtures of medications to IV solutions.
• Prepare unit dose syringes and chemotherapy medications.
• Assist with compounding solutions/medications for critical care and OR areas.
• Maintain adequate stock levels in assigned areas.
• Follow written procedures and state/federal regulations; collaborate with pharmacy and technical staff.
