Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required and PE license preferred.
• Minimum 10 years ITS design and traffic engineering experience.
• Experience with VDOT/MDOT and design-build projects is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage ITS design on traffic projects including vehicle detection and CAV elements.
• Lead and mentor traffic engineers and coordinate with roadway, structures, hydraulics, and environmental groups.
• Prepare scopes of work, schedules, and fee proposals and meet with clients.
• Participate in business development activities.
