Job summary

AHU Technologies Inc. is seeking a hands-on Field Network Engineer to lead design, deployment, and operations of a secure ITS network connecting traffic signals, CCTV, and IoT devices in DC. You will work across field and data center environments, emphasizing uptime and reliability for mission-critical operations.

The role requires expertise in DMVPN, VPNs, dynamic routing, and Metro Ethernet transport, with a focus on redundancy, security, and performance of ITS infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Networking or equivalent.
• 11+ years of network engineering experience (ITS or similar).
• Experience with ITS including traffic signal controllers and CCTV transport.
• Experience with LTE/5G failover solutions.
• Network automation with Ansible or Python scripting.
• IoT security and segmentation practices.
• HVAC/high-availability network design and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support Cisco DMVPN hub-and-spoke and spoke-to-spoke networks.
• Configure IPsec VPN, GRE tunnels, NHRP mappings, and tunnel interfaces.
• Implement dynamic routing (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP) over DMVPN for automated failover.
• Design and validate failover with LTE/5G backups.
• Monitor tunnel health, latency, and throughput across VPNs.
• Coordinate Metro Ethernet provisioning and dual-WAN redundancy.
• Manage VLANs, IP addressing, and L2/L3 connectivity to data centers.
• Apply QoS for latency-sensitive ITS traffic; maintain docs and inventories.
