Job summary

Sice Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer in Miami to design, deploy and maintain ITS network systems.

The role involves supporting traffic control networks, CCTV, sensors, and data backhaul, ensuring high availability and security across field and office environments. You will collaborate with civil/electrical engineers, vendor partners, and field technicians, handling configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and monitoring tools while driving network performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network design, configuration and operations in field/industrial settings.
• Experience with ITS-related networking: field device connectivity, remote sites, wireless, fiber.
• Willingness/ability to travel to field sites.
• Relevant vendor certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network topologies for ITS applications.
• Plan capacity, performance, and scalability for ITS networks.
• Define hardware and firmware requirements; configure network devices.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and high-availability networks.
• Document network diagrams, configurations, and test reports.
• Support deployment of ITS devices (CCTV, sensors, controllers).
• Coordinate with vendors and field teams; participate in commissioning and testing.
