Job summary

GoIntellects Inc. is seeking a Field Network Engineer — ITS Infras for the DC Government in Washington, DC. The role blends field deployments with hybrid work, requiring hands-on DMVPN, IPsec VPN, and metro Ethernet experience.

You will design, implement, and troubleshoot DMVPN fabrics, ensure encrypted links, coordinate with service providers, and support ITS infrastructure including CCTV and IoT devices. Travel and lifting up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating DMVPN networks.
• Proficiency with IPsec VPNs, GRE, and overlay routing.
• Hands-on knowledge of metro Ethernet and WAN transport.
• Ability to implement secure, scalable network solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support DMVPN hubs and spoke networks across Metro Ethernet transport.
• Configure IPsec VPNs, GRE tunnels, NHRP mappings, and tunnel interfaces.
• Implement and manage BGP/OSPF/EIGRP over DMVPN for failover.
• Coordinate dual-WAN redundancy and carrier handoffs at sites.
• Monitor tunnel health and ensure performance across VPN links.
• Design and test failover, including LTE/5G backups.
• Maintain documentation and network diagrams.
