Job summary

Insitu is seeking an experienced trade compliance licensing professional to support its international client portfolio. The role focuses on export license writing, lifecycle management, and jurisdictional classifications for unmanned systems, acting as an empowered official under ITAR.

Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, drafting license applications, and ensuring regulatory compliance across ITAR and EAR, with exposure to engineering and program teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with drafting and management of U.S. Export authorities (U.S. Department of State, Department of Commerce).
• Strong knowledge of ITAR and EAR license lifecycle management; experience with license classifications and jurisdiction.
• Experience drafting Commodity Jurisdictions and CCATS applications.
• Ability to coordinate with technical and programmatic teams to achieve licensing objectives.

Responsibilities

• Monitor licensing activity for compliance and accuracy; draft responses to inquiries.
• Develop and report metrics and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Establish and manage export licensing programs; ensure effectiveness of compliance controls.
• Draft and manage export license applications for deliveries and development activities.
• Review technical data for proper export classification and compliance.
