Shield AI is seeking a proactive Trade Compliance professional to support our global operations by navigating ITAR and EAR licensing and compliance for hardware, software, and services. The role collaborates with Sales, Program Management, and Engineering to balance regulatory requirements with business growth.

You will manage export/import authorizations, implement divisional procedures, maintain records, and monitor regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance across Shield AI's U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years’ prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 2 years.
• Experience with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or ITAR licensing and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, submit, and manage export/import licenses and agreements for regulated hardware, data, software and services.
• Implement and manage divisional trade compliance procedures, including visitor vetting and restricted party screening.
• Provide clear, actionable guidance on compliance matters across Shield AI's business units.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records for all license activity.
• Review and ensure export authorizations meet Shield AI and government requirements.
• Apply and uphold corporate trade compliance policies across teams.
• Evaluate the use and applicability of exemptions and exceptions within the business.
• Monitor changes to government export policies and ensure ongoing compliance.
