Job summary

PlanITROI in Youngsville, NC seeks a Senior Operations Manager to drive throughput, precision, and compliance in a high-volume ITAD environment. You will lead cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure on-time delivery and rigorous quality.

You will apply Lean Six Sigma thinking to optimize processes, manage projects end-to-end, and maintain audit-ready documentation across NAID, ISO, and related standards. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of project management experience in manufacturing, logistics, operations.
• 5+ years of training, teaching, and coaching teams and holding them accountable for daily goals.
• Experience in ITAD, electronics lifecycle services, or distributed IT hardware environments.
• Lean Six Sigma experience or certification.
• Familiarity with regulated environments (R2v3, NAID, ISO standards).
• Experience managing external vendors or third-party service providers in an operational context.
• Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of operational projects from initiation through completion and reporting.
• Translate program requirements into clearly defined operational workflows and production plans.
• Serve as the primary operational liaison between internal teams and external vendors.
• Ensure all project milestones, deliverables, and SLAs are consistently attained.
• Daily execution across Receiving, Data Destruction, Refurbishment, Quality Control, Inventory, Shipping, and external vendor partners.
• Manage vendor workflows, service execution, and material movement to support production.
• Monitor workflow progression through internal systems and ensure accurate asset tracking across internal and external touchpoints.
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks involving vendor dependencies and internal constraints.
• Partner with production leadership to align capacity, scheduling, and vendor support.
