Job summary
Jobot is seeking a Senior Operations Specialist for a leading electronics manufacturer in Charlotte, NC. This role drives continuous improvement and operational excellence across manufacturing processes.
You will implement Six Sigma, lead Kaizen events, and collaborate with EHS and Quality teams to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and 5+ years in manufacturing are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred).
- 5+ years in a similar manufacturing role with Six Sigma/Kaizen.
Responsibilities
- Implement Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
- Facilitate Kaizen events to eliminate waste.
- Develop safety strategies with EHS and Quality teams.
- Use KPIs and OEE to measure performance and identify improvements.
- Conduct cycle time analysis to optimize production.
- Mentor plant employees on CI tools and methodology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
