Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Colorado is seeking a Sr. IT Manager, Transformation & Resiliency to lead Pillar3's Velocity & Recovery Engine.

You will modernize operational capabilities through automation, DevOps enablement, AIOps, SRE, and enterprise resiliency architecture. You will drive autonomous, fault-tolerant, intelligence-driven enterprise operations, partnering with Enterprise Technology Platforms, Product teams, and Cybersecurity to deliver cohesive end-to-end platform and operations

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
12+ years IT experience with 4+ years in leadership; equivalent 16 years without degree.
Proven track record leading large IT infra and software development teams.
Extensive cloud experience (Azure, AWS) and hybrid cloud management.
Experience with CI/CD, IaC, automation and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with ITIL, SDLC governance and enterprise IT lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

Lead automation, DevOps & resiliency engineering for enterprise platforms.
Build and advance AIOps for predictive incident detection and automated remediation.
Establish IaC standards, CI/CD pipelines, configuration automation and reusable patterns.
Design resilient architectures and govern platform lifecycle within enterprise framework.
Lead SRE strategy including metrics, logging, tracing, monitoring and observability.
Collaborate with Cybersecurity, product teams and Enterprise Technology Platforms to ensure end‑to‑end reliability.
