Job summary

Connect4Talent is seeking a Senior IT Technician to support Windows and Mac environments, manage Microsoft 365, and configure networks including firewalls, switches, and VPNs. The role is based in Grapevine, TX with a hybrid schedule and local client visits with mileage reimbursement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT support experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth MSP setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years experience supporting Windows and Mac environments.
• Practical experience configuring and maintaining networks incl. firewalls, switches, VPNs.
• Experience diagnosing server and infrastructure problems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
• CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multiple client environments.
• Support Windows and Mac systems.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft 365.
• Configure and support networks, firewalls, switches, and connectivity.
• Investigate and resolve server-related issues.
• Escalate complex technical challenges as needed.
• Guide junior technicians to strengthen team performance.
• Help refine processes, documentation, and service delivery as we grow.
• Communicate updates, recommendations, and solutions directly with clients.
• Carry out onsite client visits when needed.

Must have:

• Experience diagnosing server and infrastructure problems
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
• Prior MSP experience is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical matters for clients
• Self-directed problem-solving ability and comfort working with minimal supervision
• Confident in direct client interactions and relationship management
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth setting
• Process-oriented mindset with a focus on improving service delivery
• CompTIA Network+, Security+, or similar certifications preferred
• Valid drivers license required
• Reliable personal vehicle and active auto insurance required
• Ability to travel to local client sites
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
