Job summary

Moses Lake School District 161 is seeking a Technology Specialist III to provide advanced IT systems support across servers, networks, and enterprise applications. You will design, deploy, and maintain district hardware and software, while delivering third-tier technical assistance to the Technology Support team.

The role requires strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, scripting, and VM platforms, with a focus on enterprise systems and network management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related technology field or 5+ years of related experience; bachelor’s preferred.
• Windows and Macintosh PC troubleshooting and repair knowledge.
• Advanced understanding of Windows Server (AD) and Apple Open Directory services.

Responsibilities

• Provide level III escalation support to Technology Support Specialist I/II.
• Manage district file servers and Active Directory objects.
• Maintain servers and network devices across LAN/WAN environments.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks.
• Assist with VM planning, design, and management (Hyper‑V, VMware).
• Support VOIP/telephony design and deployment as assigned.
