Job summary

BENJAMIN STEEL CO. is seeking an IT Administrator to maintain and enhance the company’s technology infrastructure across multiple Ohio locations. The role provides advanced technical support for end users and administers servers, networks, and enterprise applications.

Travel up to 50% is required. The position focuses on reliability, security, and performance of IT systems, with opportunities to contribute to strategic technology initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Tech/CS or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 3–5 years of progressively responsible IT experience supporting enterprise environments.
Experience administering Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft 365, servers, networking, and enterprise infrastructure.
Experience supporting multi-site organizations preferred.
Experience with MDM, virtualization, backup solutions, and cybersecurity technologies favored.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced technical support for desktops, laptops, thin clients, mobile devices, peripherals, printers, and enterprise software.
Configure, administer, and maintain servers, storage, virtualization platforms, switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, and network appliances.
Administer Active Directory and Microsoft server environments; manage user accounts and access rights.
Manage MDM platform, device enrollment, security policies, inventory, and lifecycle management.
Support and coordinate with vendors for IT initiatives and service requests.
Create and maintain technical documentation; participate in disaster recovery and backup planning.
