Job summary

Marmon Industrial Energy and Infrastructure is hiring a Systems Administrator for our Cleveland, OH site. The role supports day-to-day IT operations across the Cleveland facility and secondary sites, with a focus on VMware, SAN, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments.

The position reports to the Infrastructure Team Lead and requires 3–5 years of hands-on IT experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with corporate IT teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in a systems administration or IT infrastructure role.
• Experience supporting IT infrastructure including networking, servers, and end-user hardware.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments.
• Hands-on VMware virtualization and SAN administration experience.
• Familiarity with enterprise backup solutions (Veeam).
• Experience supporting or administering ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain IT infrastructure at the Cleveland site (hardware, network, servers, end-user devices).
• Administer VMware virtualization environments and SAN infrastructure.
• Manage Microsoft 365 tenant, Active Directory, and Windows Server environments.
• Support cybersecurity practices and data protection in line with standards.
• Administer and support the ERP system with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Manage and maintain Veeam backup system for data protection and recovery.
• Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications; coordinate with corporate IT.
• Assist with IT disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Support site telephony and voicemail systems.
• Coordinate with external IT consultants and other sites as needed.
