Job summary

Presrite Corporation in Cleveland, OH is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to lead design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise systems, servers, and networks. This senior role goes beyond day-to-day support and acts as escalation for complex issues.

The engineer will drive infrastructure projects, strengthen security posture, and collaborate with IT leadership on the long-term technology roadmap. Travel to other company locations is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or 5+ years of progressive IT systems administration, network engineering, or infrastructure experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and enterprise networking.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Strong scripting/automation skills (PowerShell or equivalent).
• Experience with virtualization, backup/disaster recovery, and storage technologies (NAS/SAN/iSCSI).
• Strong understanding of IT security best practices, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and email security.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise servers, network infrastructure, and virtualization/storage systems.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex hardware, software, and network issues.
• Lead IT infrastructure projects from planning through implementation.
• Own the ongoing configuration, monitoring, and hardening of security systems and compliance initiatives.
• Administer and optimize Exchange, Active Directory, virtualization, and storage infrastructure.
• Manage LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SD-WAN, and wireless infrastructure.
• Provide comprehensive end-user support for desktops, MS Office, printers, and phones.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, processes, and documentation; monitor ticketing system.
