Willamette View is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to modernize the core technology environment across on‑prem and Azure. You will own migration planning, Azure administration, and DR strategies while supporting staff and residents with approachable technology guidance.

The role requires hands‑on expertise with Azure, Hyper‑V, and Microsoft 365, plus strong communication and a patient, service‑minded approach to user support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering enterprise Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Hands‑on experience administering Microsoft Azure Infrastructure‑as‑a‑Service (IaaS).
• Proficient in PowerShell for systems administration and automation.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper‑V) and enterprise backup/disaster recovery solutions.

Responsabilités

• Lead the planning and execution of migration from on-prem Hyper‑V to Microsoft Azure, including workload assessments and cost optimization.
• Administer and optimize the Azure environment while maintaining Windows Server infrastructure during the transition.
• Own backup and disaster recovery strategy across hybrid environments using Veeam and Azure‑native solutions.
• Manage hybrid Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Intune endpoint management.
