Job summary

Azure Standard is seeking a Systems Administrator to own day-to-day care of its infrastructure on site in Moro, Oregon. The role requires six years of hands-on experience across Windows Server, AD, Linux, virtualization, backups, and network basics, with a focus on security and reliability.

You will maintain servers and applications, monitor health, manage backups, assist with hardware, and support after-hours maintenance while documenting work and contributing to a secure, recoverable

Qualifications

• Six years of hands-on systems administration in multi-server environments.
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Experience administering Linux and virtualization.
• On-site work in Moro, Oregon and after-hours support.
• Certifications in relevant areas are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Windows and Linux servers, applications, and related systems, including patching and follow-ups.
• Monitor system health, capacity, and availability; resolve or escalate issues.
• Oversee backups and recovery readiness with regular verification and restore testing.
• Administer directory services, accounts, permissions, and privileged access.
• Support the virtual environment, including provisioning and maintenance.
• Help maintain network security and segmentation; assist with infrastructure installs.
• Provide hands-on support for server, network, and related hardware.
• Participate in routine security reviews and remediation; assist with incidents.
• Track work in the ticketing system and keep infrastructure docs current.
• Work occasional evenings or weekends for maintenance windows.
