Job summary

Klaviyo is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to own the design, implementation, and long-term health of our enterprise systems, focusing on identity, endpoint management, and SaaS platforms. You will drive end-to-end projects, from SSO rollouts to complex multi-tool integrations, with high autonomy and ownership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a systems engineer or systems administrator with enterprise production ownership.
• Ability to define problem statements, align stakeholders, and deliver with minimal direction.
• Deep working knowledge across IT systems including device management, IAM, and endpoint security.
• Experience with macOS/iOS management at scale (MDM) and Windows via Intune/Autopilot.
• Experience administering core SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, Zoom).
• Hands-on IdP configuration: SSO, SCIM provisioning, group/role design, app onboarding (Okta/Entra ID preferred).
• AI fluency: using AI tools to automate, document, and improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise systems reliability, security, and roadmaps across identity, endpoint management, and SaaS platforms.
• Lead end-to-end projects: scope, design, rollout, rollback, testing, peer review, and documentation.
• Turn ambiguous business needs into concrete systems that reduce user friction.
• Set security and operational standards: least-privilege, automation, and runbooks for others to operate.
• Define success metrics and prove with data on tickets deflected and provisioning improvements.
• Mentor engineers, provide feedback, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
