Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an IT Systems Analyst Advisor in the United States. The role focuses on analyzing and translating complex business requirements into robust system specifications for multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and delivery goals.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, expertise in APIs, data models, and technical documentation, and excels in collaborating with Product, Architecture, Development, QA, and Operations to drive solutions forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Ten (10) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical or system specifications required.
• Experience supporting system integrations, data flows, and application behavior.
• Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments preferred.
• Experience in enterprise or regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads the analysis and translation of complex business and functional requirements into system requirements and technical specifications across multiple initiatives.
• Leads the creation and review of detailed technical specifications and technical tasks, ensuring development teams have sufficient clarity to implement complex and cross-system solutions.
• Translates highly complex and ambiguous business needs into scalable system requirements and technical specifications.
• Defines processing logic, validations, exception handling, and expected system behavior for enterprise-level or cross-functional use cases.
• Ensures system requirements and technical specifications are complete, high quality, and aligned with delivery needs and enterprise standards.
