Job summary

Associated MetalCast, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT support professional to install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, networks, and ERP interfaces across the organization.

You will provide daily end-user assistance and handle software deployments, patches, and security updates. The role requires a proven track record in a manufacturing IT environment, strong Office skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in IT or related field required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 7+ years IT support or technical experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• LAN knowledge and network troubleshooting experience.
• Experience configuring and supporting network devices (routers, switches, wireless access points).
• Familiarity with Active Directory, including user account creation, group membership, and permission management.
• Experience supporting ERP systems; familiarity with SQL and Crystal Reports is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Perform maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on IT hardware and related equipment.
• Provide daily technical support and assistance to end users across the organization.
• Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access points, and workstation devices.
• Assist with deployment of software installations, system patches, and security updates across workstations and plant systems.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to improve IT operations and efficiency.
• Provide end-user support for Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Office applications.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations per IT procedures.
• Perform additional IT-related duties as assigned by the IT Manager.
