MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop computers, printers, and other IT peripherals.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on IT hardware and related equipment as required.
- Provide daily technical support and assistance to end users across the organization.
- Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access points, and workstation devices.
- Assist with the deployment of software installations, system patches, and security updates across workstations and plant systems.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to improve IT operations and efficiency.
- Provide end-user support for Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system configurations in accordance with IT procedures.
- Perform additional IT-related duties as assigned by the IT Manager.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of seven (7)+ years of relevant IT support or technical experience preferred.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Local Area Networks (LAN) and network troubleshooting principles.
- Experience configuring and supporting network devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, including user account creation, group membership, and permission management.
- Experience supporting or integrating ERP systems; familiarity with SQL and Crystal Reports is a plus.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware components, diagnostics, and repair.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and quickly learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment.
