Job summary

Insitu, a Boeing subsidiary, seeks a Support Technician in Bingen, WA to troubleshoot, service, and repair computer hardware, software, and AV equipment. You will provide IT support to customers, respond to service requests, and document solutions while working onsite in a collaborative team.

Strong communication and problem-solving are essential for success. The role requires an associate degree and 3 years of related experience, with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs and learn new technologies

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related discipline and 3 years of related experience.
• Proven experience with Insitu systems.

Responsibilities

• Initial system configuration of computers, peripheral equipment, and software.
• Develops standard guidelines to be used for self-help and/or responding to customer requests.
• Respond to tickets in accordance with established guidelines.
• Record, track, and document the help desk request problem solving process including actions taken through to the final resolution.
• Respond in timely manner to requests and issues.
• Repair and replace equipment as needed.
• Provide onsite and remote support to end users.
• Elevates and coordinates out of scope technical issues.
• Assesses needs and recommends hardware or software to meet end user needs.
• Enters purchase requisitions as necessary.
