Job summary

Westchester Medical Center Health Network in Kingston, NY seeks an experienced Support Technician III to serve as the face of IT and SME for the support team, providing advanced end-user support and leading junior staff on enterprise projects.

The role requires 6 years of hands-on IT support, an associate degree in IT or related field, and strong communication skills. Healthcare experience and security compliance are preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 years of hands-on IT technical support experience.
• Associate’s degree in information technology, science, or related required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; education may be substituted with 2 years related work experience.
• Experience in healthcare technology support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as part of a team in support of End Users for access to computer equipment, systems and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and decommission enterprise hardware including PCs, printers, scanners.
• Configure computer equipment following hospital protocols and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware problems including PCs and peripherals.
• Render support to end users for network logon, application access, and navigation.
• Lead project implementations and serve as liaison with end users for system access.
• Maintain asset management and adhere to security protocols.
