Job summary

Ellwood is seeking a Support Technician III to deliver advanced IT support across hardware, software, networking, and enterprise systems. The role owns endpoint management, patching, configuration, and security hardening beyond routine tasks.

Responsibilities include AD/Azure AD administration, deployment workflows, policy management, vulnerability remediation, and PowerShell scripting for automation. Travel regionally may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• Five+ years in IT support with enterprise endpoint experience.
• Strong skills in AD, Azure AD/Entra ID and device provisioning.
• Experience with Windows 10/11, M365, and deployment tools.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and remediation.
• CompTIA A+ and Security+ certifications are required or in progress.
• MD-102 preferred for endpoint administration responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues across hardware, software, networking, and enterprise systems.
• Administer user accounts, groups, and access controls in AD and Azure AD/Entra ID.
• Manage endpoint configuration, compliance policies, and application deployment.
• Build and maintain Windows system images with deployment tools.
• Handle endpoint patch management using WUfB, Intune, SCCM/MECM; monitor compliance.
• Create and manage Group Policy Objects; implement security baselines.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation with stakeholders and track to closure.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for deployment and remediation workflows.
• Perform application administration, licensing, and user access across apps.
• Mentor junior technicians and document project statuses for review.
