By gathering, analyzing, and sharing intelligence from classified, open‑source, and dark‑web environments, this role identifies emerging threat actors, tracks vulnerabilities, and informs decisions that prevent attacks.
Their work enables federal teams to anticipate risks, close intelligence gaps, and coordinate responses across agencies. Without CTI analysts, organizations would be blind to many of the signals that warn of intrusions, espionage, or cyber operations targeting government systems.
