Job summary

Human Rights Campaign is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist in Maryland to bridge end-user support and enterprise technology operations. The role emphasizes Microsoft 365, endpoint administration, and proactive service improvement in coordination with the IT leadership and MSPs.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of IT support experience, ITIL/CompTIA certifications preferred, and strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience with 4+ years in IT support.
• ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Network+ or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, Entra ID, Active Directory and endpoint management.
• Experience with automation tools and IT service management practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier-1 to tier-3 technical support and SLA-driven resolutions.
• Own specialized service areas such as enterprise apps, MDM, or security awareness.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Teams, Google Workspace, Zoom, and related endpoint tech.
• Create knowledge articles and user documentation for self-service.
• Collaborate with IT team on server/network monitoring and maintenance.
• Deliver user training on IT systems and cybersecurity best practices.
• Support IT projects, testing, and automation initiatives.
• Coordinate with MSPs and internal teams to maintain service delivery.
• Mentor junior IT staff and promote operational best practices.
• Assist with patch management and security standards.
