Job summary

Human Rights Campaign in Washington, DC seeks a Senior IT Support Specialist to provide advanced end-user support and escalate complex issues to maintain reliable IT services.

You will manage Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Teams, Google Workspace, Zoom, and security practices, collaborating with IT leadership and MSPs to deliver secure operations.

Occasional travel and events support are required, and a strong customer-focused, proactive mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of progressively responsible IT support experience.
• ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Network+ or comparable certifications preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows client OS, Entra ID, Active Directory, endpoint management, enterprise apps, and macOS support.
• Experience with PowerShell or other automation tools, ITSM practices, project coordination, and managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences; ability to travel periodically.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 escalation support and ensure timely resolutions within SLAs.
• Own specialized service areas to improve service delivery.
• Administer enterprise apps and systems like Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Teams, Google Workspace, Zoom, and endpoint tech.
• Perform ticket analysis, develop preventative solutions, and create knowledge articles.
• Deliver user training on IT systems, cybersecurity, and collaboration tools.
