Job summary

Casey’s is hiring a Senior IT Support Specialist in Ankeny, IA. You will serve as a key escalation point for complex technical issues and provide expert support across the organization. Join a team that values mentorship, problem solving, and continuous improvement.

You will handle incident ownership from start to finish, document steps, and collaborate with IT peers to enhance processes while ensuring security and compliance. Local onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information System or similar field, or equivalent work-related experience is required.
• At least three years of work-related experience; CompTIA A+ is a plus.
• Proficient knowledge of ITSM tools and Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel are strongly preferred.
• Experience with Point-of-Sale Software, Fuel Software, and related hardware is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willing to work onsite in Ankeny, IA with daily commuting distance to Casey's Store Support Center.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Respond to support requests via phone, chat, and ITSM platform with a positive experience.
• Diagnose hardware, software, and system issues with established processes and critical thinking.
• Guide team members through solutions and remediation steps.
• Own incidents from investigation to resolution with timely communication.
• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions to strengthen knowledge base.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve support processes, tools, and documentation.
• Mentor less experienced team members and share knowledge.
• Help safeguard Casey’s systems and data per security and privacy standards.
