Job summary

Superior Essex, headquartered in Atlanta, seeks a Senior IT Support Specialist to join the Information Technology team. You will provide advanced technical support across corporate offices, manufacturing facilities, and remote sites, working independently and with vendors to ensure reliable IT services.

The role involves managing end-user devices, AD/AAD, Intune, and M365 environments, with opportunities to contribute to infrastructure projects and improve business-critical systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support, desktop support, or similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with AD, Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Networking basics: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, wireless tech.
• Experience with endpoint management: Intune, SCCM or equivalent.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, Microsoft Certified is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and plant-floor tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for end-user devices (Windows, macOS, mobile).
• Diagnose and resolve escalated incidents for Windows, macOS, and M365 apps.
• Administer AD, Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Support Intune, MDM, and endpoint security solutions.
• Troubleshoot network, printer, and remote access issues.
• Deploy and maintain hardware/software per standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex issues.
• Participate in IT projects, upgrades, and rollouts.
• Maintain technical docs and support workflows.
• Analyze trends and implement reliability improvements.
• Support conference room tech and collaboration platforms.
• Deliver on-site support at offices, plants, and remote locations.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and change management.
