Job summary

Brookfield Asset Management LLC in Chicago is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to deliver deskside and remote support for end users, logging, resolving and managing incidents to ensure a high-quality user experience. You will report to the Team Lead, Deskside Support, work with TS teams, install and troubleshoot hardware/software, and contribute to knowledge management.

Experience in Windows 10/11 and macOS, ServiceNow, and cybersecurity best practices are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years IT support experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent)
Experience in the financial services industry preferred; front-office support a plus
Proven ability to install, configure, and support Windows and Mac environments
Strong customer service and relationship management skills
Experience with ServiceNow and ticketing systems
Awareness of cybersecurity best practices

Responsibilities

Provide deskside and remote support to Brookfield end users
Own IT incidents and requests through to resolution
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, peripherals, AV, and network connectivity
Deliver basic technical training and guidance to end users
Document incidents and workarounds per knowledge management standards
Represent Brookfield Technology Services professionally in all interactions
Collaborate with TS teams to resolve complex issues
Participate in testing and rollout of new desktop technologies and software
Provide backup support to deskside team members
Assist with escalations on high-priority issues
