Job summary

Humacyte Inc. in North Carolina seeks a Senior IT Support Specialist to lead our internal end-user support. You will be the escalation point for complex issues, deliver white-glove service to executives and staff, and mentor junior technicians in a fast-paced life sciences setting.

You will manage Microsoft 365, Intune, and patch management, oversee onboarding/offboarding, and ensure secure, reliable access across VPN, Wi‑Fi, and devices. On-call rotation is required.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of hands-on IT support / help desk experience, including senior or escalation level.
• Excellent customer-service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience owning or leading employee IT onboarding and offboarding.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 for end users.
• Experience managing devices with Microsoft Intune.
• Hands-on patch management experience (Azure Update Manager/ManageEngine).
• Experience supporting a Microsoft/Azure-based environment.
• Working knowledge of core networking concepts (Wi-Fi, VPN, VLANs).
• Ability to stay calm and organized with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior point of contact for internal employees with white-glove support.
• Own tickets end to end and ensure user satisfaction.
• Provide high-touch support for executives and VIPs.
• Translate technical issues into plain language and set expectations.
