Job summary

Allied Resources on behalf of our client seeks an IT Support Specialist to join an in‑office IT Support team. The role focuses on endpoint devices, collaboration platforms, and office IT infrastructure to deliver a reliable technology experience for employees.

This onsite role requires strong incident ownership, onboarding/offboarding, and a drive to implement automation and modern IT practices to improve support operations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in IT Support or Systems Administration.
  • Associate degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage endpoint and collaboration platform deployment and health for the region.
  • Maintain device compliance, patching, and configuration standards.
  • Ensure reliability of Microsoft Teams and meeting room technologies.
  • Own incident resolution by prioritizing work based on business impact and implementing permanent fixes.
  • Reduce repeat incidents through documentation, automation, and process improvements.
  • Lead regional onboarding and offboarding, including provisioning and deprovisioning accounts and equipment.
  • Own office technology standards (printers, A/V, meeting rooms), including lifecycle management and inventory accuracy.
  • Utilize modern endpoint management tools such as Intune to monitor and maintain device performance and compliance.
  • Support Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to employees both in person and remotely.
  • Increase self-service deflection through automation and knowledge base improvements.
  • Coordinate with Security and Network teams to respond to alerts and take corrective action.
  • Help manage support coverage, identify workload risks, and recommend adjustments.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation, reporting, and configuration tasks.
  • Demonstrate use of AI and automation to improve IT support processes.
  • Manage relationships with software and hardware vendors.
  • Contribute to IT projects, initiatives, and technology adoption aligned with overall IT strategy.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join their in‑office IT Support team. This role is critical to delivering a reliable, high-quality technology experience for employees by supporting endpoint devices, collaboration platforms, and office IT infrastructure.

This is an onsite role.

Role Overview:

The IT Support Specialist is accountable for reducing employee downtime, improving onboarding/offboarding and collaboration experiences, and maintaining consistent, secure, and efficient IT services. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of issues end-to-end, and is eager to use automation and modern IT practices to improve support operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced experience with Modern Endpoint Management, including Windows 11, Autopilot, and Endpoint Analytics
  • Experience supporting Microsoft M365, Microsoft Teams, PDF tools, and other SaaS platforms
  • Experience using Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools
  • Proficiency with Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Admin Centers, Intune, and cloud-based services
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • Knowledge of security best practices (Conditional Access, Defender, BitLocker, MFA)
  • Familiarity with ITIL / ITSM frameworks; Freshservice experience is a plus
  • Experience with PowerShell and basic scripting (Bash, Python a plus)
  • Exposure to SASE, Zero Trust (ZTNA), or NIST-aligned environments is a plus
