Cornerstone Advisors is seeking an experienced Technology Support Engineer to provide responsive, high-quality IT assistance to internal users in Scottsdale, AZ. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum five years in technical support or help desk roles is preferred.
• Experience in financial services environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own user-reported issues from intake through resolution, with timely updates.
• Escalate unresolved problems to specialized internal teams.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Guide users through troubleshooting steps via phone, email or chat.
• Keep accurate records of issues, actions, and outcomes in the help desk.
• Prioritize cases and meet service levels and deadlines.
• Suggest improvements based on recurring support patterns.
• Educate staff on IT best practices and security protocols.
• Refer to knowledge bases and external resources for solutions.
• Support hybrid work and secure remote access.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, including provisioning and deactivation.
