Job summary

Diamond Assets is seeking an IT Support Specialist 2 to serve internal and external clients, address complex end-user issues, and drive quality in deployments, imaging workflows, and documentation standards. You will build on the Support Specialist 1 foundation, own escalation processes, and help set the team’s service levels.

In collaboration with the CIO, you will prioritize work, lead small projects, mentor Level 1 staff, and contribute to a culture of teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

Qualifications

• Technical College degree in Information Technology or related field, mandatory; certifications such as CompTIA A+, Apple Certified Support Professional are preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on end-user support and device repair experience or equivalent at Level 1.
• Advanced proficiency supporting macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and Windows end-users.
• Deep MDM and client deployment experience including configuration profiles, policy management, software distribution, and Apple ecosystem workflows.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electronic devices with good judgment on repair-versus-disposition.
• Proven track record supporting productivity software, email, collaboration tools, and end-user networking.
• Experience mentoring or training junior staff and leading by example.
• Excellent customer service, especially in escalated or sensitive client interactions.
• Strong problem-solving, researching, troubleshooting, and documenting technical issues.
• Robust organizational and task-management skills and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as escalation point for Level 1 staff and resolve complex end-user issues.
• Install, configure, and deploy hardware and software with standard imaging workflows.
• Perform advanced MDM and deployment tasks and refine deployment standards.
• Define and enforce technical standards and documentation across systems.
• Mentor and review Level 1 specialists to grow skills.
• Own and maintain IT knowledge base and IT Help Desk processes.
• Lead small-to-medium projects under IT Operations Manager.
• Handle escalated client-facing technical situations professionally.
