Job summary

Pathstone Partners, LLC is seeking talented associates for a boutique strategy and operations consulting role focused on healthcare delivery improvements. The firm partners with hospital systems to drive financial and operational improvements in supply chains.

The role emphasizes leading engagement workstreams, data-driven analysis, and development of recommendations while collaborating with client stakeholders across levels, including IT applications, infrastructure, and support services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of prior work experience with client-facing consulting workstreams or operational improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with healthcare IT as either a sourcing category manager, project management, or with a vendor/IT reseller.
• Proficiency with data and analytics tools - advanced Excel, SQL, and BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau; experience with data modeling and reporting.
• Familiarity with healthcare data structures (item master, charge master, contracts, spend) and interoperability standards (HL7 / FHIR) a plus.
• Experience supporting system implementations, integrations, or data migrations in a hospital or health system environment preferred.
• US Work authorization is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and creative thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of key engagement workstreams and initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Lead junior team members in workstreams and initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Own analysis of complex data sets to generate insights and identify opportunities.
• Own development of persuasive business cases and presentations to clients.
• Own identification of strategies and recommendations to improve client’s performance.
• Lead project management efforts for client engagements.
• Build strong partnerships with client stakeholders to ensure successful completion of workstreams.
• Communicate and engage with client stakeholders ranging from front-line staff to executives.
