Nightingale Veterinary Partners, headquartered in New York City, seeks a hands-on Senior IT Specialist to support day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, and end-user technology across multiple locations. Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of progressive IT experience with hands-on infrastructure and end-user support.
• Experience supporting multiple physical locations.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and related identity/productivity tools experience.
• Strong networking fundamentals including LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
• On-site travel to different locations for diagnostics and setup.
• Experience with onboarding/offboarding and account provisioning.
• Cybersecurity basics: MFA, backups, and security practices.
• Experience working with external vendors or MSPs.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior hands-on tech resource for Nightingale's practices and home office.
• Provide day-to-day technical support for users, systems, hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Travel regularly to practices throughout NY, NJ, CT to provide onsite support.
• Assist with setup, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of computers and networking gear.
• Support Microsoft environments, including 365, Entra ID, and Intune; manage user accounts.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding and access provisioning for employees.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VLANs, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, and network infra.
• Coordinate with vendors/MSPs to troubleshoot issues and complete projects.
• Maintain endpoint security, MFA, backups, and other cybersecurity controls.
• Help establish IT standards, procedures, and docs for multi-location deployment.
• Support new practice openings and onsite deployments; travel as needed.
• Collaborate with CTO and IT team on projects and growth initiatives.
• Evaluate solutions to improve reliability, security, and user experience.
• Foster accountability, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
