Job summary

Patriot Advertising is seeking a Principal IT Specialist to support the ION RightAngle system, perform upgrades, and collaborate with end-users, developers, and managers. The role emphasizes strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years of application support, deep SQL knowledge, and familiarity with Remedy or ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, or related field
• 10+ years in application support
• Strong knowledge of Physical (Oil, NGLs, Refined Products) & Financial commodities
• Solid SQL and relational DB concepts
• Familiar with SDLC processes (Agile, Waterfall)
• Experience with Remedy or ServiceNow ticketing
• RightAngle data flow knowledge including deal capture and invoicing

Responsibilities

• Support and enhance ION RightAngle daily with end-users and developers
• Document issues and enhancements for the dev team
• Assist with data issues and user questions
• Create and maintain system functional design docs
• Handle upgrades, patches, and custom code releases testing
• Follow change management procedures
• Provide after-hours support for critical tasks
• Contribute to best practice library and mentor teammates
• Manage multiple tasks with limited supervision
• Ensure compliance and effective communication to leadership
