Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an IT Audit Manager for a remote consulting engagement focused on SOX testing and ITGC controls. You will plan, execute, and report IT control testing across change, access, and operational areas to ensure SOX compliance.

You will coordinate with stakeholders, document results, and lead remediation efforts while leveraging frameworks like COSO, COBIT and ITIL. Preference for CISA/CPA/CIA certifications.

Qualifications

• SOX ITGC testing experience
• Knowledge of COSO, COBIT and ITIL frameworks
• Experience with ERP environments and financial reporting
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with audit or GRC tools
• Ability to manage timelines across multiple workstreams and stakeholders
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA, or CIA preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute SOX ITGC and application control testing.
• Evaluate IT controls over change management, access management, operations, and interfaces.
• Perform walkthroughs, develop test procedures, and document testing results with evidence.
• Identify control deficiencies, assess impact, and support remediation and retesting.
• Coordinate with process owners, external auditors, and stakeholders to align timelines and scope.
• Prepare status updates, testing summaries, and issue logs for leadership review.
• Support risk assessments, scoping, and control rationalization activities.
