Southern California Edison seeks an IT Solutions Planning, Senior Advisor to lead strategic technology planning, portfolio management, and investment prioritization aligning business goals with enterprise outcomes.

You will work with business leaders, architects, and delivery teams to build roadmaps, evaluate demand, and guide high-value technology investments to drive a cleaner energy future.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience developing and implementing technology solution plans aligned to business strategy.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.
• Experience partnering with solution architecture, business stakeholders, and technology teams.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies in product, portfolio, and strategic planning.
• Experience building technology roadmaps, business cases, and multi-year investment plans.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make data-driven investment recommendations.
• Proven collaboration and influence across senior stakeholders and executives.
• Success leading complex cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed environment.
• Experience creating dashboards, metrics, and executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

• Guides long-range planning for business capabilities and outcomes.
• Leads portfolio planning, demand management, and technology investments.
• Solicits requirements from stakeholders for planning initiatives.
• Analyzes processes and develops business cases for new initiatives.
• Optimizes IT demand and identifies value-stream opportunities.
• Maintains strategic view of business and technology outcomes and total cost of ownership.
• Approves project documentation and delivers planning artifacts.
• Advises on asset lifecycle from inception to retirement.
• Collaborates with IT, product owners, cybersecurity, operations, and leadership.
• Travelling up to 10% to various sites as needed.
