Job summary

Wipfli is seeking a Senior Consultant in the Tinley Park, IL area who can work 100% in person or in a hybrid environment with office visits as needed. The role involves developing and implementing consultative or technical solutions to improve client business processes and IT landscapes.

Responsibilities include escalation handling, environment assessments, roadmaps and security reviews, client communications, and mentoring junior staff. 15% travel within IL is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 7+ years technology solutions experience in a professional services firm or 10+ years in private industry with 1+ year in professional services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory.
• On-site client work experience; up to 15% travel in the U.S.
• Pursuing or possessing advanced certifications.
• Strong blend of technical and consultative skills to deliver value.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and adapt to change.
• Experience serving clients in healthcare or financial industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a level-three escalation resource for complex service desk issues, coordinating resolutions.
• Assess client environments across Microsoft 365, Azure, AD, SharePoint, endpoints, servers, and cloud apps.
• Document client roadmaps and security reviews with findings and recommendations.
• Lead maintenance and security review discussions; analyze reports for gaps.
• Identify risks and modernization opportunities; present actionable solutions.
• Scope, price, and monitor project plans, budgets, timelines, deliverables.
• Proactively communicate status and risks to project leaders and clients.
• Train and mentor Consultant I’s and II’s; delegate work for growth.
• Lead R&D and foundational efforts to deliver innovative market solutions.
