Job summary

Wipfli LLP is seeking a Senior Consultant in the Tinley Park, IL area to develop and implement technology and process solutions for clients. The role supports on-site or hybrid work arrangements with approximately 15% travel to client locations within the U.S.

You will guide complex projects, collaborate with client teams, and mentor junior staff while maintaining roadmaps, security reviews, and delivery timelines to maximize value for healthcare, financial, and other industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of technology solutions experience in a professional services firm or 10+ years in private industry with 1+ years in professional services.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Active Directory.
• Experience working with clients on-site; up to 15% travel to client locations within the U.S.
• Possesses or works towards obtaining appropriate advanced certifications.
• Demonstrated blend of technical expertise and consultative ability to assess needs and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize multiple projects under pressure while quickly responding to unexpected events or changing priorities.
• Training, support or consulting advisory experience is preferred; healthcare or financial institutions industries experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a level-three escalation resource for complex service desk issues and coordinate with internal SMEs to drive resolutions.
• Assess client environments across Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory, SharePoint, endpoints, servers, and cloud apps.
• Document and maintain client technology roadmaps and security reviews with clear business impact and next steps.
• Lead recurring client maintenance and security review discussions analyzing reports and roadmaps.
• Identify risks and modernization opportunities and develop practical solutions.
• Scope, price, and monitor project work plans, budgets, timelines, deliverables, and out-of-scope requests.
• Proactively communicate cost, quality, schedule, and risks to project leader and client; share status updates.
• Train and mentor junior consultants; delegate tasks to enable staff development.
• Lead research and development to deliver innovative market solutions.
