Job summary
Sedgwick is seeking an IT Software Development Specialist Senior to develop, test, and maintain software in a Windows client/server environment using PL/SQL, Oracle, Progress 4GL ADE, .NET, and MS SQL. You will formulate scope, define objectives, and translate requirements into detailed specifications for moderately complex information systems.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent.
- Four to six years of language development in a relevant language or equivalent experience.
- Experience interpreting user requirements and designing business applications.
Responsibilities
- Familiarize with application areas including reports, claims management, interfaces.
- Analyze user needs and assist in design of specifications.
- Develop/modify software to meet data processing requests and regulatory requirements.
- Test and debug software; prepare documentation for new or existing software.
- Investigate escalations from support; correct data/software as needed.
- Adhere to standards and support quality customer service.
